Social Media continues to reshape public relations, making this an ideal
time to reflect on the history of PR - the way it has been defined and positioned up until now and what we can expect to come. In November, we
will hear from Dr. Meg Lamme, APR. Dr. Lamme is a Fellow at the Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations and Associate Professor in the Department of Advertising & Public Relations at the University of Alabama. Dr. Lamme, who has been teaching and practicing PR for more than 25 years, believes that the rise of Social Media suggests a return to the basics of PR. In addition to Dr. Lamme's presentation, we
will hold our annual chapter meeting.
